This is an example of how I like to return to a piece and rework them. Although I was happy with the simplicity of the first Parrot piece, with the visual emphasis on the birds themselves, by layering more colour and filling in the gaps, the result is more depth and texture. The parrots disappear into the background with the extra plant forms providing the decorative camouflage.
