This piece was made in my old house which had a pond in the garden with water lilies, goldfish and the occasional family of frogs. When dragonflies made an appearance on a warm summer’s day, this quick spirited insect lifted my mood and heralded the start of a gloriously warm and sunny summer. Very much a nod to children’s books it became the starting point for a series of images to be used in an Alphabet learning book..only another 25 to go!
